Skincare is so important, but I have to admit that I’m not always the best when it comes to the skincare regime. I’ve come to find that a lot of girls are either into their hair and makeup or skincare and it’s more of an either or scenario. So if like me your more of a makeup than skincare girl than this is a great product for you.
L’Oreal released a stunning skincare range with their Pure Clay Masks. They come in three clays the Detox Mask (Black), Purity Mask (Green), Glow Mask (Red). The Detox mask uses charcoal extract to draw out impurities, while the Purity mask uses Eucalyptus extract for its purifying properties.
For the best results you should really use all three masks on different areas of your face to based around where you skin is most oily or where you pores are the most blocked.
But for those of you new to face masks you can also start with one, as I have and work the others into your skincare regime if you are happy with the results. As my skin type is normal to dry I have started with the Red Glow Mask over the others. The Red Glow Mask, which uses Red Algae extract and finally milled apricot seeds to exfoliate dull skin and reveal a brighter glow.
My regularly readers will already know I’m a huge fan St Ives face scrub for exfoliation so I was thrill that the Pure Clay Glow Mask works so perfectly with it. It has a great light texture on your skin, a soft smell and works well on sensitive skin that might react to over fragranced or scented products.
First wash your face as normal with whatever face wash/scrub you use and then gentle apply the clay mask. After 5-10 minutes take off the clay mask with warm water and cotton pads making sure you are massaging the skin in circles.
And that’s it! It’s probably one of the most simple and easy clay masks to use on the market and it’s great value for money. I used it 2-3 times a week for 2 weeks and could very easily start to see the difference. My skin looks brighter, softer and has a great healthy glow.
So let me know which of the L’Oreal Pure Clay Masks is your favourite if you had to chose just one? Or do you only use them all at once for the best results?
lots of love
