Okay, as I’ve not done anything fashion related in a while, I’m kicking back off with my summer wardrobe wish list with these great day and night looks. I’m jetting off for a little break in Barcelona later on this month, which I can’t wait for!
Adulting has been a real snooze fest recently and the miserable weather at the moment is not helping things at all, so I’ve find the best way to cope when pay day and holidays seem or so far away, is to sort out your wish list nice and early.
Keeping it fairly casual this week with this gorgeous sparkly tee from Superdry. Paired with cropped jeans and heels it works as a smart-casual for the day time or a less dressy outfit for the night. (And as you can probably tell I’m feeling very rock star in the sunnies).
Happy Valentine’s Day! My favourite childhood Christmas presented was a Cruella DeVil Spotty Dalmatian faux fur coat I got in honour of the Glen Close movie. So receiving this coat on Valentine’s day made me feel like a child all over again.
I’m so excited to show off my Valentine’s present from Top Shop and actually grateful for the cold weather so I can wear it every day. (And in the house, and in bed, and in the shower!) My very lovely boyfriend bought me this gorgeous coat before Christmas and save it for me now – not sure why I couldn’t just have more Christmas presents. It feels like a truly classic 1920’s fur you would inherit from a relative and it really is as cosy and warm as it looks. I want to call everyone “darling” and drink Prosecco all day! The faux fur is luxuriously soft and as satin lining as well as pockets! (A surprising number of my coats don’t have pockets.)
My mum had always stressed the point that good underwear is essential, and mismatching underwear is an embarrassing crime. (Sorry mum I’m a repeat offending on that one.) But during my travel’s in Norwich I stumbled across a gorgeous new luxury lingerie shop, Proudlock Harrywhich has definitely encouraged me to pay more attention to good quality underwear. Unfortunately I don’t Mr Barclay Card would agree.
